Through my journey with cancer over the past couple of years, I have drawn closer to God and found him to be faithful to me in so many ways. Actually, his faithfulness is most evident when it seems on the surface that he is not. Faithful Always was recorded at my son, Jordy Searcy’s studio in Oceanside, California and features my wife, Marjorie Searcy, on vocals. It’s part of an EP, MIGHTIER, releasing in the fall of 2024. ABOUT GEORGE
George has written worship songs for the church for over three decades. He was a staff writer for Integrity Music in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was an amazing time to be a part of modern praise and worship music in its infancy.
George has also served in several church of various denominations in the southern U.S. as a worship director and church planter. He continues to be inspired to write new worship music capturing what God is doing today.
He is married to vocal coach and co-writer Marjorie Searcy. They have three children, Mallory Dawson, Jordy Searcy and Liam Searcy, who also are involved in music and art making. George serves as Worship and Arts Director at Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church on the gulf coast in Fairhope, Alabama.
